Custom & Import Tax

When placing an international order with ClearWaterPurify, please be aware that the recipient (Consignee) is responsible for any customs duties and import taxes upon delivery. These charges are not included in the purchase price and must be paid directly to customs authorities upon receipt of your order.

Determining Import Duties:

Customs duties vary based on the destination country's regulations and the nature of the goods. For international shipments, ClearWaterPurify typically uses USPS First Class Mail. To minimize potential import duties, we declare the invoice value between $20 USD and $150 USD and mark the package as a gift. However, these practices may not fully exempt you from customs charges, as they depend on your country's specific tariff policies.

Adjusting Declared Value:

If you have specific preferences regarding the declared value of your shipment, please contact us at service@clearwaterpurify.com before placing your order. We will accommodate your request to adjust the declared value accordingly. If no instructions are provided, we will proceed with our standard declaration practices.

Handling Customs Clearance Issues:

In the event that your package encounters customs clearance issues, ClearWaterPurify will cover the customs clearance fees and provide you with the necessary shipping invoice to present to customs authorities. Additionally, we will assist by contacting USPS to help resolve the situation.

Please note that customs regulations are subject to change, and it's advisable to familiarize yourself with your country's import policies to anticipate any potential charges.
